The Digital Controls AMS Products group is seeking a Software Engineer to develop state-of-the-art flight critical embedded software for military and commercial aviation applications. The selected candidate will be a member of the engineering team responsible for the design, development and verification of real-time embedded software for air management systems (e.g. environmental control, engine bleed air, air distribution, liquid and vapor cycle systems, and gas inerting systems).
The candidate must have knowledge of model based design process, requirements validation and software verification. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Applicants should be interested in the design challenges of embedded real-time software systems, military and commercial airborne software, software architecture, and a working knowledge of control principles.
- Programming language experience in C or C++
- Real-time embedded software design and verification experience
- Fundamental understanding of laboratory test equipment
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, or
- Master's degree Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
