From Conduent offices in Columbia, Maryland,the candidate will engage in development activities for Conduent’s Fleet Management System and Services. Our integrated fleet management solutions support fixed-route transit, bus rapid transit (BRT), and paratransit vehicles, as well as supervisor and maintenance vehicles.  Dispatchers can constantly monitor vehicle location, collect information on the health of the vehicle equipment, and keep continuous communication with the entire fleet.These industry-leading products support fleet management and associated operations for a number of the country’s largest transportation agencies, including Los Angles Metro (LACMTA) and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). Our government agency clients provide public transit services for their constituents, includingbuses, trolleys, trackless trolleys, subways, and commuter rail.As Engineer II, Software Engineering, the candidate will serve as technical expert on development projects and will be responsible for requirements definition, design reviews, implementation, testing, and initial documentation. In this capacity, the candidate will analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.   Additional duties include:

  • Develop code in C# for the .NET environment.
  • Develop forms for Windows applications using WPF/XAML/Blend.
  • Develop applications within the PRISM framework.
  • Develop database structures and SQL queries.
  • UseAgile (Scrum) Methodology for rapid and more disciplined development during implementation.
  • Implement ASP.NET MVC4.0 (Model View Controller) architecture for application development to render different views based on the category and to simplify the testing process.
  • Use AngularJS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Bootstrap, and jQuery to improve the look and feel of the ASP.NET 4.5 web page.
  • Analyze and design approaches, UML Use Case diagrams, Class Diagrams, State Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams.
  • Perform Unit Testing and Integration Testing of the entire application.
  • Support Operations team by troubleshooting the production issues during deployment.
